ICan-B Asia's school shadowing service is designed to help children with special needs to adapt to their school environment. For many children with ASD, they might display inappropriate behaviors with their peers or have difficulty sitting and attending during class. The role of our therapist then is to provide the necessary support to facilitate healthy social interactions and active participation in class. At the same time, our team will develop individualized goals to improve inappropriate behaviors and facilitate effective learning in the school. Some skills that we work on with the child at school include the following: Sitting and attending, responding to group instructions, waiting, asking questions, following instructions, completing in class assignments, following routines, transitioning between activities.
